BUDGET/CONTRACT SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION

BUDGETING/CONTRACT
- Create templates and prepare working budgets for Task Order contracts
- Assist in budget development for all T&M contracts
- Assist the Contract Administrator in managing Subcontractors and Consultants (Processing invoices, create/amend/modify the agreements, maintains and update all records, etc.)
- Develop and maintain budget, subcontract, and consultant monitoring systems to ensure that funds are spent as approved
- Create and use Excel templates to analyze budget patterns and projects expenditures.
- Identifies budget issues, provides alternative solutions, and resolves problems.
BID & PROPOSAL
- Assist with the development and assembling of all Business/Cost Proposals
- Maintain adequate supplies of all materials needed for proposal (boxes, binders, RBG spines, hole punch papers, proposal covers, etc)
ACCOUNTING
- Verify computational and details accuracy on all invoicing Excel sheets prepare by Billing Specialist prior to Contract Administrator's review
- Verify the PDFs copies of all invoices with the paper copy to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to Contract Administrator's review
- Assist Accounting in year end 1099s issuance to all consultants (verify accuracy and completeness)
ADMINSTRATIVE:
- Perform other administrative duties as requested (filing, organizing records, create electronic copies of all important documents such as Contract, modifications, and etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least two years college with courses in accounting, business, or equivalent experience. Bachelor's or higher is a plus.
- One year of related work experience
- Must be excellent in Excel
- Must be detail oriented and willing to walk the extra miles when needed
- Proficiency in the use of other software applications, databases, and/or word processing required
